Description
This build/restoration took just under 2 yrs of weekends labor. It started with the finding & rescue of the truck tank from a friends junk pile. It was rough but it did have both of the gas can side rails. The trucks frame was buried under 30yrs of various car parts in our barn. A 2nd frame was purchased at a local swap meet as well as the trailers tank. We found a 3rd truck frame at the rear fence line of one of the oldest salvage yards in MN. 2 trees had grown up through it & after pleading with the yards owner he agreed to cut down the trees & use an articulated loader to retrive our new found prize. This frame eventually became the trailer it also gave up its fenders for the project. As I combined the 3 trucks useable parts my father cut & planed the oak which became the cab & wooden wheel spokes. The original gas & oil cans came from Skelly Oil Co.'s 1st bulk plant in MN which was built in 1909 & purchased by my father in 1960. We enjoy sharing the truck at shows & driving in parades. It always draws curious onlookers & brings out many old time memories. However the best part of this build was the quality time spent with my dad as we restored a little bit of history. Please enjoy the photos.

What better choice than the vehicle that put America on wheels!!
The model T is truly the car of the "century" - and I can't think of a better choice than a Henry Ford original.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
