The early 1900s saw the birth of the modern Motor Age. Competition between the Stanley Steamer, electric and internal combustion engines was fierce in determining which style was most viable. Ransom Olds introduced production-line manufacturing and Henry Ford debuted the Model T for a scant $950, which went on to sell more than 15 million units to become the third most popular car in history.
