Description
This 1923 Model T Ford Roadster was built in CA. The Lake Style Roadster is a style of car that was used for daily transportation and also for speed runs on the dry lakes of the high desert. This type of car has no frills, only has the parts needed to go fast and dependable. The Model T body is mounted on a 1928 Model A Ford chassis. The remainder of the chassis and running gear is all pre-1950 Ford. 1935 Ford 16 inch wire wheels. She has a 1967 Chevy 283 engine and the transmission is a 5 speed T-5. She's a super car and has gone many trouble free miles on long road trips. She's been run on a 1/2 mile oval dirt track at the Jalopy Showdown in PA and down the drag strip at Historic Island Dragway in NJ since moving east. She was a feature car (Low Bucket) in the Dec. 1996 HOT ROD Magazine.
