Description
This is my First attempt to restore a car. It took me 16 years to complete it. A good part of the restoration was to un-modify the the incorrect modifications that were done to the car during it's life. And re manafacture the worn and or broken transmission and differential gears. Also a New Body was made using the original as the pattern, which I still have. My father owned this car for a little over a year before he passed leaving the car to me. He had already started the restoration proess when he had a new radiator manufactured as well as the rear end differential gears re created The restoration was started by me in 1989 and completed in 2005. I took it to my 1irst AACA showing in 2006 at Ashville NC where I got a 1st Jr. It was photographed there at the time and was the feature car used in the AACA calender for March 2007. In August of 2006, I got my Senior at the Rockford Ill. meet. In July of 2007, the car got its 1st Senior at the Grand National in Kalamazoo Mich. It was recently shown at a AACA meet in Mason City Iowa where I received a preservation award. I am presently using stove gas in the engine (Colemen latern fuel), similar to what was used in these early engines before the use of gasoline. Leonard Steiner

Hello!
Congrats on winning the 1900's Decade!
I know you did not have any competition, but that does not change the fact that you have done an amazing restoration!
If there were 100 cars in the decade for this contest, I am confident that you still would have prevailed!
Best of luck!

This might be one of the few classes where people didn't stuff the ballots :-) . I hope you win it all! Your car is a fine example of a beautiful vehicle.
